Includes his scientific manuscripts and a detailed account of his collections. Profusely illustrated with 12 colour plates and many in b/w , plus drawings and charts, including fold-outs. Maroon cloth boards with gilt lettering in black panel to spine. Internally the front hinge is a little loose but not broken and the a small piece of the top corner of the half-title page has been clipped and there is a little damage to a short lenght of the page fore-edge. o/w contents are tight and clean. V.G. in like d/w with a little edgewear and small repaired tear to top of spine, and is in removable clear protective wrap. This is a very heavy book and owing to the weight, extra shipping will be incurred. Please ask for details.
