Dust jacket is wrapped in a mylar covering, price is uncut "price in UK only £8.95 net", has mild wear along the extremities, moderate bending wear along the rear cover tail edge, and a small tear along the rear tail joint corner. Boards have stains, mild wear along the head and tail edges, mild wear along the fore corners, and mild wear along the spine head and tail edges. Textblock has splitting to the gutter front the half-title page to the title page, mild wear along the edges, staining on the head edge, and moderate age-toning throughout. This copy is a 1st printing with an inscription on the title page "To Colin Greenland, with very best wishes, Clive 28th August ; 1985" this being the publication date. Dedications from Barker to other authors are uncommon. Laid in is the invitation from the publisher to Colin Greenland for the party with drinks at 6.30pm at Forbidden Planet London. This text block is browning as usual, otherwise this is a lovely copy with sharp square boards and a fine dj that has been in mylar since publication. Excellent collectors copy.
