To date, research of this nature has been focused on western mid-latitude countries and relevant works or data in the general equatorial regions are limited. A sampling station was set up in the field of the Institusi Teknologi Abdul Rahman in the center of the Prai Industrial Park, Penang, Malaysia. A comprehensive dataset of atmospheric turbulence parameters of three months were determined and analyzed.
