A very good copy in fine non-price-clipped dust wrapper. A contemporary account together with the first in-depth account of the life, crimes and trial of Major Herbert Armstrong, who was arrested in 1921 for the attempted murder of a rival, and later additionally charged with the murder of his wife, the crime for which he was eventually executed after one of the most publicised murder trials in pre-WWII British history.
