It is an important insight into the early development of bomber raids within the RAF. The book has been read, but is in excellent condition. Pages are intact and not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged.

The surviving crew were captured marched 180 miles to Camp Bir Hakkim from where an extraordinary rescue took place led by the Duke of Westminster and his armoured cars, including 9 Rolls Royces! 304pp., endpaper map and diagrams of camp at Bir Hakkim and 2 sketches in the text. Very minor blemishes, name in ink with Christmas 1919 written on front endpaper, else very nice example.
