Other illustrations include on pages: 34, his birthplace; 98, Palmer's 1856 home, the Ritten House Mansion; 100, Glen Eyrie, Palmer's home in Colorado Springs; 103, a portrait of Lincoln. The book has 128 pages, silk enpapers, tissue guards for the illustrations, and fine paper. The letters are Palmer's correspondence to "Ike" the compiler, Isaac Clothier a longtiem friend and roommate of Palmer's. A very scarce book in near fine condition. Shipping requires insurance.
