The library markings are limited to the ghost of a label at the foot of the spine, asmall gold-stamped meda…llion reading "Dept. of State," a stamp and a bookplate at the front pastedown, minor markings to the verso of the half title and of the title page, and the remnants of a pocket at the rear pastedown. The half leather over marbled paper covered boards are sturdy, their extremities mildly worn; with the exception of a few apparently random lines in pen, the contents are clean and attractive. 730 grams.
