Draft script for the 1986 film, here under the working title "Triple Identity." Bound in, preceding the script are two memorandums, dated November 3 and 4, 1985, regarding script revisions. Script incomplete, ending on page 114. Not to be confused with the 1948 film noir, directed by Anthony Mann, and starring Dennis O'Keefe. Arnold Schwarzenegger stars as a small town sheriff and ex-FBI agent, who is recruited by Darren McGavin, an aging FBI Chief, whose son was killed by a mob boss, to infiltrate the mob and exact vengence. Shot on location in Chicago, Illinois, Gallatin, Tennessee, and North Carolina. Front wrapper integral with first memorandum, dated November 3, 1985. Title page present, dated October 23, 1985, with credits for screenwriters Gary DeVore and Norman Wexler. 119 leaves, with last page of text numbered 114.
