Author Tacetta Beulah Dillow was born in Nebraska in 1892. She lived in Worland, Wyoming and began teaching. In 1919, Tacetta had a daughter Georgania, who passed away at a young age. With the realization that the first settlers of the Big Horn Basin were getting older and dying, Tacetta set out to collect first-hand accounts and historical documents before they were lost forever. Her efforts resulted in the book "Stories of Early Days in Wyoming: Big Horn Basin," first published by Prairie Publishing Company of Casper, Wyoming, in 1936. Tacetta passed away on March 15, 1953.
