Black & white illustrations throughout, including images of the products for sale and photographs of factories and their staff. A folded, single sheet titled "In Writing for Estimates" is bound in at the back of the book with a perforated edge. The reverse side of this page is graph paper. Ex-library with few of the typical markings. "Property of Catalog Library" is stamped on the front cover, alongside "Ref" written in ink and a call number sticker pasted over additional writing. Wraps show minor edge wear and a 1" section of chipped paper on the back cover. Some marks from rubbing to the wraps, as well, and a dark smudge on the back. Crown/foot of the spine are chipped. Marks from rubbing are visible on the front free endpaper, and the illustration embossed on the front cover has left an impression on the endpaper and the title page. Binding is cracked at pages 18-19, exposing the glue and stitches. It is also broken between pages 78 and 79, and torn at the top of pages 30-31. Light toning throughout, especially at the edges of the pages. No loose or missing pages and no additional marks or writing. Contains sections titled Chain Driving; Concerning Sprockets; The Encasing of Chains; Care of Chains; Construction and Quality of Diamond Chains; List and Description of Diamond Driving Chains; & etc.
