Zustand: Hervorragend. Zustand: Hervorragend | Seiten: 314 | Sprache: Englisch | Produktart: Bücher | This book discusses Indonesia's international economic strategies. It examines unilateral aspects, foreign direct investments, bilateral economic relations, regional elements, ASEAN's role, and the Indo-Pacific's dynamic frameworks. Starting at the unilateral level, the book outlines how Indonesia managed its macro-economy to recover quickly and adequately from 2020 to 2021 amidst the global COVID-19 pandemic. It argues that Indonesia needs an open economic principle to enhance trade and investment relations. In addition, the book elaborates on how Indonesia transforms its economy with export-oriented long-run investment (Foreign Direct Investment) inflows as a necessary condition for economic transformation as it fits with Indonesia's manufacturing sector, which is critical to the country. Further, the book thoroughly explains Indonesia's bilateral economic relations, from its production networks with Indonesia's major partners to their impacts. It highlights the products which will provide enormous potential benefits for the country. The book also covers regional and mega-regional aspects of Indonesia's economy. Focusing on the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), it emphasises the regional organisation's three essential principles for economic integration: openness, convergence, and inclusiveness. In doing so, research in the book also includes perspectives on how ASEAN sees Asia and the Indo-Pacific framework. It also argues that ASEAN needs centrality in enlarging its economic cooperation with other countries or regions and how a member state's unilateral and bilateral liberalisation are building blocks for ASEAN.

An early 19th century Italian edition of this epic poem about the liberation of Jerusalem during the first Crusade, illustrated throughout. Jerusalem Delivered is a romantic epic poem that was first published in Italian in 1581. The poem focuses on the First Crusade, led by Godfrey of Bouillon, in which Christians battled Muslims in order to take over Jerusalem. It was written during the Italian Renaissance, and is largely mystified in it's telling of the real historical event, taking poetic liberties to make the event more exciting and readable. The poem was written by the Italian Torquato Tasso, who is best known for this poem. He remained to be one of the most widely read poets for a few hundred years after his death, which happened just a few days before he was due to the crowned by the Pope as the 'King of Poets'.Containing an engraved frontispiece, plus twenty additional engraved plates, by Italian engravers Antonio Verico, Carlo Lasinio, and Marco Zignani.Collated and complete.Containing a small ink notation to the front free-endpaper of each volume. Bound in half morocco with cloth covered boards. Externally, smart, with some light rubbing to the spine, joints, and extremities. Light shelf wear to the boards. Previous owners' small ink notations to the front free-endpapers of each volume. Internally, both volumes firmly bound. A few spots and handling marks to the pages, which are otherwise bright and clean. Very Good. book.

VERNERO?OCLC Number / Unique Identifier:558753573.FIRST EDITION OF THE FINEST ITALIAN WORK ON FRUIT. "It is extremely rare and its interest is enhanced by the knowledge that it is one of the few examples outside of England in which aquatint has been used successfully" (Dunthorne). "Before Gallesio began this enormous work, published in fourty-one parts from 1817 to 1839, he had already published his Traité du Citrus, which explains the reason for the lack of oranges and lemons in a catalogue of Italian fruit. Gallesio's fruit garden in Savona was not his main occupation, for he was a lawyer and a civil servant as well as a botanist, whose experiments on the development of varieties of fruit were quoted later by Charles Darwin. Gallesio's Pomona was a major contribution to the study of pomology in Italy" (Raphael Oak Spring Pomona).
