Inscribed and signed on ffep by the author's sister, Jane Vatcher Schmidt, "To Dr Golden. in appreciation for all your help and what you did for our brother Dr. William H Vatcher". Apparently it was a gift from the author's family to the author's personal physician, after his passing in 1965. This was Vatcher's last book, for this notable writer.
