This very large hard cover book (9 ¾ x 13 inches, 275 pages) was published by the Aurora Art Publishers of Leningrad, dated 1985. The book is lavishly illustrated with over 400 plates, many of which are in full color and others reproduction of vintage b&w drawings and photos of what happened during the siege. This book is bound in matte black cloth boards with red gilt titles and decorations on cover and spine; it is protected by a pictorial dust jacket. Condition: This book is in very good condition. There is some very minor edge wear to the dust jacket, mostly just some rolling and light wrinkling to the top edge. The hard covers are clean and the gilt decorations and titles bright with a faint and narrow band of sunning (1/8 of an inch) top and bottom. Inside the book is unmarked and the pages and plates are clean and bright from cover to cover. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
