Neuware - Broken Roots, Stolen Futures is a powerful and thought-provoking examination of the challenges facing India's education system at a critical moment in the nation's journey toward Vikasit Bharat. In a country where millions of young minds represent the promise of tomorrow, education must do more than produce degrees-it must shape character, competence, and responsible citizenship.

Hardcover. Zustand: New. This is what Brahma prophesied as he departed after blessing Maharshi Valmiki. How true it is! The Ramayana Katha remains as fresh today as when it was first composed by Maharshi Valmiki many millennia ago. Srimad Valmiki Ramayana is an Itihasa (epic) integral to Indian civilization. The central theme of this Mahakavya is the practice of Dharma and Satya, epitomized by Sri Rama, the Prince of Ayodhya, who is portrayed as the Maryada Purushottama. Born into the Suryavanshi Clan in Ayodhya, Rama was about to be coronated as the Raja by his aged father, Dasaratha, when powerful destiny intervened. Due to a boon granted by Dasaratha to his third wife, Kaikeyi, Sri Rama was exiled to the forest for fourteen years. When informed of his exile by Kaikeyi, Rama accepted it without hesitation and left for the forest with his wife, Sita, and brother, Lakshmana, to uphold the sanctity of his father's promise-an act that secured his eternal fame. In the forest, Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana endured many hardships, culminating in the abduction of Sita by Ravana, the Raja of Lanka. The epic narrates how Rama rescued Sita after slaying Ravana. However, the story takes a tragic turn when Rama, despite being convinced of Sita's chastity, discards her to protect his reputation from public calumny. This decision underscores the importance of personal integrity and public accountability for a king, a value upheld by Rama throughout his life. Throughout his journey, Sri Rama demonstrates equanimity, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to Dharma and Satya. He remains steadfast in honoring his father's promise to Kaikeyi, serving as a model of ideal human conduct. Valmiki Ramayana portrays Sri Rama as the ideal human being, and reading it provides profound insights into Indian culture at its finest. My effort is to present an undiluted English version of the original Sanskrit Ramayana, making it accessible to readers unfamiliar with Sanskrit.

Buch. Zustand: Neu. Druck auf Anfrage Neuware - Printed after ordering - Chemical-mechanical planarization (CMP) has emerged over the past few years as a key enabling technology in the relentless drive of the semiconductor industry towards smaller, faster and less expensive interconnects. However, there are still many gaps in the fundamental understanding of the overall CMP process and the associated defect and contamination issues. This book brings together many of the active players in the field to focus on the interdisciplinary nature of these challenges. It reflects, to some extent, the role played by both academic institutions and multinational corporations in opening up the frontiers in the field of CMP for wider dissemination. Both experimental and theoretical contributions are included. Topics include: overview and oxide polishing; pads and related issues; metal polishing - W and Al; copper polishing and related issues; CMP modeling and fluid flow; and particle adhesion and post-polish cleaning.

(26,5 x 19 cm). SS. 489-524. Mit Abbildungen. Original-Broschur. Erste Ausgabe dieser berühmten Veröffentlichung über die Entdeckung des Raman-Effektes. Raman erhält dafür 1930 den Nobelpreis für Physik. - "With his associates Raman studied the scattering of light of available frequencies by a number of substances, particularly fluids. In April 1923 Raman's associate K. R. Ramanathan observed a weak secondary radiation, shifted in wavelength along with normally scattered light, which was attributed to 'fluorescence.' S. Venkateswaran then noticed that highly purified glycerin does not appear blue under sunlight, but rather radiates a strongly polarized, brilliant green light. Raman and K. S. Krishnan then undertook to isolate the effect under impeccable experimental conditions. They employed complementary light filters placed in the paths of the incident and scattered light, respectively, and observed a 'new type of secondary radiation' from the scattering of focused beams of sunlight in both carefully purified liquid and dust-free air. They reported this discovery in a letter to 'Nature' in February 1928" (DSB). - Stempel auf Einband, sonst gut erhalten. - DSB 11, 264.
