Bound in the publisher's original cloth, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper.Written by British novelist and screenwriter, Rosemary Timperley, who is best remembered for her many-hundred ghost stories. 'The Egyptian Woman' refers to Daria Salih, a cabaret actress from Cairo who comes to teach French in and English school in attempt to put her wild life behind her. Salih brings excitement and drama to her new surroundings, with affairs, feuds and accusations of spying. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper.
