Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Very Good. 1st Edition. RAILROADS THIS TRAIN IN BOUND FOR GLORY STORY OF AMERICA S CHAPEL CARS 1999 1ST DJ. I am starting up another thematic group of books about railroads and related topics here from my winter base in Florida. Here is another one, quite special like the railway cars it describes: "This Train is Bound for Glory The Story of America s Chapel Cars", by Wilma Rugh Taylor and Norman Thomas Taylor. This large oblong hard cover book (11 ¼ x 8 ¾ inches, 382 pages) was published by the Judson Press of Valley Forge, PA, dated 1999 and the First Edition/First Printing if I am reading the coding on the copyright page correctly. The book is bound in navy blue boards with dark silver gilt titles on cover and spine and protected by a glossy pictorial dust jacket. The book is well illustrated throughout with an amazing array of vintage b&w photos and other figures that bring this engaging story to life. Condition: This book is in very good condition. The dust jacket is almost without signs of wear except for some minor rolling of the bottom edge of the rear cover and some slight scuffing to the glossy finish. The hard covers are clean, the dark gilt titles bright and unbumped. Inside, the book is unmarked and the page and many photos are clean and bright from cover to cover. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
