Stapled wraps. Zustand: Very Good. First Edition; Second Printing. The Science Fiction History of 1956. Includes Science Fiction: 1956 by James V. Taurasi, Sr., and Ray Van Houten, Annual Report: 1956 by Frank R. Prieto, Jr., 1956 in Science Fiction by Thomas S. Gardner, Science Fiction Marquee by Forrest J. Ackerman, 1956 in Books by Stephen J. Takacs, Science Fiction Market Survey 1956 by Sam Moskowitz and As of Now by J. Harry Vincent. An extremely interesting screenshot of the science fiction world in the year 1956 with a detailed list of books and magazines published and movies produced. Of particular interest are the statistics from the world's first survey of the science fiction industry listed in the article by Moskowitz. The magazine shows some wear and has two small stains on covers (one on upper right corner of front cover, the other on upper left corner of back cover). A very good copy. ; 42 pages.

Erstausgabe
Stapled sheets. First Edition. The run includes five issues from 1953, ten from 1954, six from 1955, six from 1956 and twenty-one from 1957 (with one duplicate). Issues 211, 212 and 279 have tears to the edges that partially affect text. Some are soiled and the paper is age-toned but, in all, presentable copies of one of the longest running science fiction fanzines, which won a Hugo Award for best fanzine in two of the years here represented, 1955 and 1957. Uncommon.
