In this study two hundred and forty samples of heat cured acrylic resin (Major base-2) were prepared and divided into different groups.Control group (without the addition of CHX) and experimental groups (with the addition of CHX (powder) at (1%, 2%, 3%)) to evaluate transverse strength, tensile strength, surface hardness, dimensional accuracy, deflection, residual monomer in addition to antimicrobial effect for heat cured acrylic resin before and after the addition of CHX (powder). Results showed a statistically significant difference at (p0.05) between control and experimental groups. The addition of CHX (powder) into heat cured acrylic resin increases its flexibility in addition to it's antimicrobial effect. Group of 1% CHX has the highest value of transverse strength, tensile strength, surface hardness and dimensional accuracy after control group. In addition to its antimicrobial effect, CHX increases the flexibility of heat cured acrylic resin. As the concentration of added CHX increased, the flexibility of heat cured acrylic resin specimens will be increased.

The addition of Thyme oil to the samples cured by the regular heat curing cycle showed color change (DeltaE=3.376) in relation to the standard (ADA) cycle which is an acceptable range in vitro.This study were to evaluate the effect of Nigella sativa and Thyme oil on The color of Acrylic Resin Denture Base Material.

The percentage of maximum possible effect (MPE) increased from (9.9) % in control group to (23.3) (18.3) (34.2) (44.2) (33.3)% respectively according to the concentrations of ketamine gel after 2 min . Purification of ketamine powder from ketamine solution and use as a gel to could be of value relief pain by topical application.

They were prepared from highly impact acrylic and subdivided into five groups for each solution (EDTA, Soda+H2O2, Lacalut, Corega and distilled water). Two laboratory tests were used for this research. Surface Roughness and tensile strength test. The surface roughness test specimens were constructed with dimensions (10×10×2±0.03mm) (length, width, and thickness respectively). According to ADA specification no.12 the tensile test specimens were constructed with dimensions 90×10×3±0.03mm (length, width, and thickness respectively). The immersion periods in this research are (2 day, 7 day and one month). ANOVA and Duncan multiple range test were used. The statistical results were considered significant at p 0.05. Results: the results showed that (soda+H2O2) has no significant change on the surface roughness and tensile strength of highly impact acrylic denture base material in (2d ay, 7 day, and 1 month) conclusion: (soda+H2O2) has the lowest effect on the surface roughness and tensile strength of highly impact acrylic denture base material in (2 day, 7 day, and 1 month)Key words: denture cleanser, highly impact, lacalut.

Materials and Methods: Ninety samples were prepared of pink heat cure acrylic resin VertexTM material, fifteen samples with natural additives and seventy five samples with synthetic Vertex acrylic stainTM. The color of samples and gingival color of 24 healthy young participate were measured by Vita Easyshade device then compared between them. Statistical analysis was done by special designed program prepared for this study in Mat lab program 2010 that calculate the color difference between all the measurements that appeared only the (DeltaE) that 6.8. Results: Results showed that (DeltaE) 6.8 between some of natural and synthetic stains matched in relation to color of patients' gingiva, and some natural stains matched the color of the patients' gingiva. Conclusions: The results approved can be using the natural stains vanilla and amaranth instead of the synthetic Vertex acrylic stains that is clinically acceptable compared in relation to patients.Key Words: Natural stains, Vanilla, Amaranth, PMMA.

The surface microhardness of the three tested materials reduced significantly after storage in neutral and acidic solutions compared to dry stored specimens. In acidic solutions, the surface microhardness was significantly lower than in neutral solutions. The starch is the same as other additives except that it leads to decrease the minimum melting point but increase the maximum melting point and the thermal expansion of hard paraffin. The rosin is the most effective one on the properties of hard paraffin than other additives. Regarding microleakage and push out shear bond strength there were no significant differences between (Mixture of cocconut and bromelain) and (NaOCl +EDTA ) solutions. The (Mixture of cocconut and bromelain) solution induced a moderate removal of smear layer without any sign of erosion, while the complete removal of smear layer by (NaOCl + EDTA ) mostly accompanied with dentin erosion. The results of this study showed that both changes in time and temperature showed significant changes in the degree of conversion, residual monomer, transverse strength, volumetric and color changes in the three curing cycles without additive. The used additives (Nigella sativa and Thyme oil) increased the conversion, increased the residual monomer release, showed a slight increase in volumetric change for the short cycle,(0.35-1.05) for the rapid simplified and for the regular curing cycles in comparison with their standard curing cycles without additives and color change, ¿E =3.376 (which is an acceptable change in vitro) for the Thyme oil additive to the regular heat curing cycle in comparison to the standard short cycle.Books on Demand GmbH, Überseering 33, 22297 Hamburg 168 pp. Englisch.
