Zustand: Hervorragend. Zustand: Hervorragend | Sprache: Englisch | Produktart: Bücher | This is the first book that deals with technological innovation in Japanese animation industry from a management perspective. In reviewing prior research and explaining the history of the technology, the author raises the difficulty of dealing with new technologies. In particular, the focus is on systems that combine analog technology (drawing by hand) and digital technology (3D computer graphics or 3DCG) to create a product. This combined technology is referred to as "hybrid technology" in this book, and the development and management of "hybrid products" using this technology are studied. The study was conducted in two stages. The first stage was to determine the engineers¿ (animators¿) perception of hybrid technology. The results showed that in terms of potential, the hybrid technology of hand-drawn animation combined with 3DCG was rated more highly by engineers than hand-drawn alone. However, in terms of the assessment at that time, hybrid technology was rated higher than 3DCG alone but lower than hand-drawn. Therefore, it was assumed that hybrid technology, while useful, would pose challenges with respect to systematic implementation. The second stage was the development management of hybrid products. The results showed that the "adaptive engineer," who openly accepts other new technologies in the early stages of their emergence contributed to the integration of new and existing technologies.

Zustand: Sehr gut. Zustand: Sehr gut | Seiten: 458 | Sprache: Englisch | Produktart: Bücher | Edited by Dr. Takeyasu, with contributions from leading scientists in the field of nanobiology, this book provides an overview of modern atomic force microscopy (AFM) technologies. It covers basic AFM protocols, newly developed technologies, and recent applications of AFM technologies in biological sciences. There are many nanotechnology books that focus on materials, instruments, and applications in engineering and medicine, but only few of them are directed toward basic biological sciences. This book bridges that gap.

Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Druck auf Anfrage Neuware - Printed after ordering - The nuclear structure is not always stable but varies from hour to hour. Thus, it is important to capture dynamic changes of the structure and function from the viewpoint of molecular dynamics. Using the latest visualizing techniques in combination with biochemical and molecular biological methods, researchers from a broad range of fields of knowledge, including chromosomal structure, nuclear transfer, RNA, nuclear membrane, transcription, and nuclear domain structures, provide an overview of the nuclear structure and current issues in nuclear dynamics. The dynamics of nuclear structures described in this book furnish the basis for a comprehensive understanding of how the higher-order organization and function of the nucleus is established and how it correlates with the expression of a variety of vital activities such as cell proliferation and differentiation. The resulting volume creates an invaluable source of reference for researchers in the field.

Hardcover. Zustand: Neu. Neu Neuware, Importqualität, auf Lager - Sawaki Takeyasu, the author of the book, is one of the most popular Japanese game character designers. He used to work for CAPCOM, and his representative works are Devil May Cry series (sold over 100,000 copies world wide), El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron (sold over 70,000 copies in Japan and North America), and Okami (sold approximately 280,000 copies in North America and Europe, was named the 'least commercially successful winner of a game of the year award' in the 2010 version of the Guinness World Records Gamer's Edition. It was featured in popular US game magazine, PLAY Magazine). Takeyasu has been also working as an illustrator/writer these days, and this book is his first picture book to be published. The story of the book is about a girl happened to face a monsters' night parade, however, the book is mainly visual. Many types of Japanese monsters appear each turn of the page that will take audiences to a fantastic, mythical world. Video game/animation fans will of course adore this book, but the exotic touch of Takeyasu's work will also attract oriental art lovers.
