Each issue about 16 pages on hand made style uncut paper heavily illustrated with woodcuts in black and red. Among the artists contributing were Charles Robinson with many signed or initialled contributions, including the covers--also his younger brothers William Heath Robinson and T.H. Robinson. Simon Houfe notes that Charles RobinsonÕs earliest work was for the Sunday School Union in 1894 so, presumably this work came out of that connection. Other artists used were George Soper and Percy J.
