En algunas de las muestras recogidas, las concentraciones de estos parámetros superan los límites permitidos por las normas de la OMS y del ISI. Tras evaluar los datos de este estudio, se concluye que es necesario tomar medidas inmediatas de mejora en los mandatos de Kadapa, Badvel, Kalasapadu, Porumamilla, Vemula y Vempalli del distrito de Y.S.R para evitar la contaminación de las aguas subterráneas.
