Softcover. Zustand: Near Fine. 1st Edition (softcover issue). [just a touch of soiling near upper left corner of front cover, otherwise a nice tight as-new book]. Trade PB (B&W photographs) A kind of photographic memoir, by a photographer/filmmaker who won two Academy Awards for his documentary films (one a short subject, the other a feature), and was an instructor in the UCLA Theatre Arts Department from 1966 to 1986. From his introductory note on the front endpaper: "This is a personal movie, sound track out of my own past, 95 true photo images I stopped out of time. You could make your own paper movie, from that box of snapshots, poems, diaries and old letters. But this one is mine. My hope is you find in it some bread and wine for your own journey.".
