Zustand: Very Good. 1st Edition. 3 volume set complete. bound in quarter leather with red label to the spine and gold gilt. the set is complete with all 4 maps as called for. the map of false bay has a tear. the map of batavia has been reinforced.the other 2 maps are in very good condition. the binding on volume 3 has minor damp damage that has not affected the block. the books have age related markings and there is a previous owner's name and date. this inscription appears to be from soon after the books were published. volume 1 has some annotations near the rear of the book. this appears to be from about 1905. volume 3 has notes on the title page that appears to be from the time that the book was published. the binding is excellent.
