Thesecharacteristic spatio-temporal properties ofBZ reactions have attracted increasing attention of the scientific community inrecent years because of its comparable periodic structures in electrochemicalsystems, polymerization processes, andnon-equilibrium crystallization phenomena. Instead, non-equilibriumcrystallization phenomena which lead to development of novel crystalmorphologies in constraint of thermodynamic equilibrium conditions have beeninvestigated and are said to be stationary periodic structures.
