In poor condition, suitable as a reading copy. Large black cloth 8vo. Cloth panels of the original boards and backstrip secured onto newer binding. Decorative blind border on boards. Gilt motif on front board and decorative blind borders, gilt lettering and gilt motifs on sun faded backstrip. Backstrip panels has some chipping. Bumped corners and some fraying. Vol. 1.2 and 2s hinges are split on the exterior. Vol 2s backstrip is damaged and torn and front board is almost detached. Black end papers. Interior is secure, clean and clear save for some light foxing. Trimmed. Illustrated.
