Soft cover. Zustand: New. The Four Attempts on Narendra Modi's Life by author duo Binay Kumar Singh and Prashant Pandey takes a fact-based look at specific instances where anti-India forces sought not only politically but also physically, to eliminate Narendra Modi right since his days as Gujarat Chief Minister. Diving into the details of four cases2004 Ishrat Jahan encounter case, 2008 Ahmedabad serial blasts, 2013 Patna Rally bombings and 2023 Bhima Koregaon casethe authors, based on court judgements and chargesheet documents, and other substantial evidence, expose the double game played by the forces opposed to him, and, indeed, Bharat. These forces intended to take Narendra Modi out of the equation at any cost. The underlying principle being that, if he cannot be physically eliminated, then he should be politically undermined so that the Bharateeyas, who have put their trust in him, lose faith in their leader. The book uncovers the convergence of four distinct groups the Islamic radicals, the entire Naxal-Left spectrum and the so-called civil society including certain NGOs and sections in the media, besides several human rights organisations etc. So, he was "Paanch Number Machhlee (Fish number: 5)" for the terrorists (Ishrat Jahan encounter case); terrorists tried to eliminate him when he came to see people injured at the hospital in serial bomb blasts (Ahmedabad blast case); terrorists again initially tried using a suicide bomber on him during a rally, before deciding to explode multiple IEDs (Patna rally bombing); Or the Bhima Koregaon case accused planning 'Rajiv-Gandhi-like-incident'. However, their sympathisers portrayed the incident differently: An 'innocent girl' killed by the police (Ishrat Jahan); bombings in rally were only to benefit Modi and the BJP (Patna bombings); the 'Rajiv-Gandhi-like-incident' was merely a case of thinking aloud.

Soft cover. Zustand: New. Today, narratives determine politics, and agendas determine narratives. The recent series of violent protestsbe it the Delhi riots in 2020, the violent protests against the Agniveer recruitment scheme or the U.S. Capitol riots in 2021exemplify this. We live in an era when information has been weaponised to create havoc in society, with virulent Forces using covert and overt propaganda outlets to further the faultlines in Indian society, or even create them where they are not prevalent, ultimately effecting conflict and violence. Propaganda warfare is a mind-hacking technique, where the target surrenders the capability of critical thinking, and the target can be a person, a group or even a nation. If we are to adequately and pre-emptively deal with it, we need to first understand how it works and thus be able to diagnose it when it is unleashed. Binay Kumar Singh's The Elastic War: Story of the Popular Front of India makes a brilliant dissection of propaganda warfare. Taking Popular Front of India (PFI) as a classic case to understand propaganda warfare, The Elastic War dissects how neo-terror outfits adopt transformative changes, and have mastered the next generation modus operandi of warfare. Terrorist organisations such as PFI are difficult to decipher using traditional methods. hese suave groups have acquired the skill of weaponising propaganda and are gradually mastering the art of Elastic Warfare. They can alter their appearances, size and methods based on the external pressures they encounter. This book will let onepolicy makers and citizens alikespot just how this elastic war is carried out, and thereby not fall victim to it. The Elastic War is an invaluable counter-weapon in the arsenal for our nation's internal security.

Soft cover. Zustand: New. BBC s True Lies unveils heretofore undisclosed facets and facts about the BBC, prompting us to scrutinize its claim as the ultimate arbiter of authentic information. The book brings to light the cleverly crafted image of BBC s independence and impartiality with a global audience, while subtly becoming a part of the British security and intelligence system, both historically and in modern times, aligning with establishment interests. The book points out how the BBC, while funded by the people through mandatory license, state support in forms of grants etc, still manages to avoid the label of state-controlled media . There also seems to be a common thread in the BBC's reporting which tends to aggravate the fault lines in the developing and under-developed world. This critical look at the BBC is meant for readers all around the world as it deals with matters of global importance. The book aims to empower readers to approach global media outlets with discernment, encouraging a more thoughtful and informed interaction with the information provided by such influential but potentially biased sources.I have fought three elections against the BBC and don t want to fight another against it. Margaret Thatcher Former UK Prime Minister Long before fake news had a name, the BBC was a master of fake news, in fact fake news of the most dangerous, the most vicious consequences, casting nations, not just individuals, into direct calamities. Hamid Dabashi Renowned Author, Professor & Expert on Iranian Studies.
