Intéressant recueil d'observations curieuses sur l'histoire naturelle, réalisées pour la plupart à Orléans et dans ses alentours. Il contient notamment un mémoire sur la rivière du Loiret et ses p…oissons, "sur une Rose rouge monstrueuse", ainsi que la relation de diverses bizarreries de la nature: écrevisses bleues, lapins jaunes, alouette à trois pattes, pigeon avec quatre cuisses, uf cylindrique de poule, etc. Une partie est consacrée à la Minéralogie de l'Orléanais dans laquelle l'auteur détaille les particularités minéralogiques et géologiques des villages de la région. Rares taches et rousseurs. Exemplaire très bien conservé.
