Light rubbing and some soiling to boards and extremities, spine somewhat darkened, spine ends bumped and lightly worn, front hinge cracked, faint dampstaining to front endleaves, library bookplate, small circular shelf label and small bookseller ticket to front pastedown. Moderate toning to interior, occasional very light foxing, a few cracks to text block, all leaves secure, ink library stamps to title page and a few other pages. $95. * Sixth edition, revised, of this durable treatise. First published in 1838, it went through six subsequent editions, the last in 1875.
