Based on the 1947 novel by Irving Shulman, about two gang members who accidentally kill a schoolteacher. The screen debut of Tony Curtis. Red titled wrappers, dated August 19, 1948, and noted as FINAL SHOOTING SCRIPT on the front wrapper.
