Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware - Knowledge Management is receiving wide attention now-adays. The importance of Knowledge Management cannot be undermined in order to strengthen the socio-economic condition of the people. I strongly believe that the appropriate use of Knowledge Management by the NGOs may help in successful com…pletion of the state's unaddressed obligations and issues to the people. This book explores the critical Knowledge Management issues in the Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) in the context of Bangladesh. It aims to reach those who have little or no background in Knowledge Management, and those who lack the ideas of employing the Knowledge Management techniques in the organisational context, as well as the students, the staff of the NGOs and their beneficiaries. Structurally, this book consists of nine chapters. Chapter One is presenting an overview on Knowledge Management. Mainly, it includes a conceptual discussion on data, information and knowledge, taxonomies of knowledge, knowledge transfer mechanisms, knowledge transfer barriers and knowledge management process. Different taxonomies of knowledge are discussed in Chapter Two. This chapter also shows a new classification of knowledge. Chapter Three concentrates on a few NGOs in Bangladesh. Opinions and recommendations on various NGO related subjects of the NGO-employees in Bangladesh are incorporated in Chapter Four. Chapter Five presents the site selection techniques for the NGOs. Chapter Six, Seven and Eight explore on the knowledge absorption capacity of the NGO-beneficiaries. Chapter Nine examines the role of the NGOs' knowledge on the socio-economic development of the people.
