Zustand: Good. 1st edition thus. Cloth, VG xxv+400pp, index, spine a little sunned, contents clean, a nice copy. Originally published in 1881, this collection contains poems from Chaucer to Browning. There are a few American poets as well as 3 from Sharpe herself. 500 grams.

Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and tanning.

Hard back binding in publisher's original crimson cloth covers, gilt title and author lettering to the spine and the upper panel. 8vo. 7½'' x 5¼''. Contains 400 printed pages of text. Spine ends turned in, ink and pencil names and addresses to the front paste down and free end paper, interesting poem written in ink to the rear free end paper and in Very Good condition, no dust wrapper.
