Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. The first novel by White written under his pen name Mark Rutherford in 1881 (edited by a probably fictitious Reuben Shapcott). Publishers green cloth, spine sunned, pages a bit browned at edges, otherwise clean and sound.

Unclipped jacket has heavy edgewear with areas of loss, heavy tears, chips, and creasing. Light tanning to spine and edges.
