Johnston of Corstorphine House to title-page, a map of Old Corstorphine on onion-skin paper loosely inserted. One of the scarce large-paper subscriber?s copies of this local history book on Corstorphine, also issued in a much smaller trade version in green cloth. This copy appropriately subscribed to by Thomas Nicol Johnston (1870-1923) of Corstorphine House.
