Front hinge cracked, endpapers browning, else very mild toning on first and last few pages. Previous owner's name on front free endpaper. A nice, solid and robust copy of this mammoth and authoritative work. Volume V of the Cambridge Natural History series.

Bound in green cloth with gilt titles and borders. The binding of volume 1 is heavily scuffed and darkened, scratched and stained. Some small bookworm holes in the binding of volume 1.
