Mostly marginal toning, edgewear with tiny closed tears, corner-tips gone, small (one inch radius) dampstain at tail of spinefold, a good-only copy. Parrish & Willingham 2302. ".in consequence of the increased expenditures for repairs to railroads, torpedo service. the additional sum of five million dollars.will be required, thus making the total estis,mate [sic] for that period, fifteen million dollars." This Confederate Imprint is one of more than 100 recently acquired, most with 'Rebel Archives' stamp on the cover, indicating that these were the actual copies seized by the Union Army at the end of the Civil War.
