In den WarenkorbPamphlet. 32 p.; 21 cm. First of a series of annual (or biennial) reports, traced as far as 1889-90. Text of the 1877 report begins: `Dear Brethren.--The remembrance of the kind reception which my Address of last year received from the Conference, encourages me to send you this year the Report of my missionary labours up to the…present time. My Periodical the "Nuova Epoca," which has reached the sixth year of its existence, has more than 150 subscribers, of whom 100 are Italians. The four works of Swedenborg translated by me contain 1030 printed pages.' Documents from an acrimonious exchange of letters between R. L. (Rudolph Leonhard) Tafel and Professor Scocia follow, regarding financial accountability for the Italian mission -- The reports continue with the altered title: Missionary work of the New Church in Italy : Professor Scocia's report on this work in the year 1879 [and onward] -- Included here are reports for 1879. 4, [2] p. (for the 9th year of his labours in Italy); and, 1881. 4, [2] p., both without a general title-page or imprint, 1879 following 1881. None of these three appears in Copac or Gabriel -- [The 1879 report refers to one for 1878, for which no location has been traced; Copac and Gabriel show reports for 1880, 6 p.; 1882, 6 p.; 1884-85, 8 p.; 1888-89, 7 p.; 1889-90, 7 p., printed by M. Ricci (all but the last held solely by The British Library)] Good, reports for 3 years glued together, removed from convolute.
