Neuware - Ich möchte meine einführenden Bemerkungen mit einem Geständnis beginnen: Das Wort 'Benachteiligte' verursacht bei mir ein gewisses Unbehagen, und zwar aus zwei Gründen: Der Begriff erweckt bei manchen Menschen Mitleid - ein Gefühl, das sich auf die einzelne Person richtet und damit auch den Einzelnen verantwortlich für seine Lage macht. Die so genannten Benachteiligten sind aber als Gruppe Opfer falscher Strukturen des Bildungssystems. Dieses gilt es zu ändern. Das Wort 'Benachteiligung' erweckt außerdem den Eindruck, dass alles gut wird, wenn man nur die Ursachen der Benachteiligung beseitigt. Doch das ist eine Illusion. Es ist keineswegs so, dass nur 'die Verhältnisse' schuld seien an den Schwierigkeiten beim Über gang in Ausbildung und Beruf, dass sie durch Sachzwänge nicht veränderbar seien und dass der oder die Einzelne diesen Sachzwän gen hilflos ausgeliefert sei. Die Verhältnisse kann man ändern, und die Individuen können als handelnde Subjekte auch ihre Handlungs spielräume ausschöpfen und zu einer Veränderung dieser Verhältnisse beitragen. Aufgabe der an diesem Prozess beteiligten Institutionen sollte es sein, die Jugendlichen bei der Aktivierung ihres eigenen Potenzials zu unterstützen - sie also zu fördern und zu fordern.…
