Scarce - this copy is from the general issue of 1000 copies on art paper. Significantly, the artist Captain R. H. M. S. Saundby served under Major Lanoe Hawker, V.C. during the Somme campaign of 1916. This album, painted from memory after the hostilities, depicts the Royal Flying Corps in action, from July 1916 to June 1917.
