Quarto, quarter papered boards, approximately 44 pp. unpaginated, 21 drawings in colour. Canvas spine has been stabilised by a conservator, endpapers renewed, internally excellent. Saundby served under Major Lanoe Hawker, V.C. during the Somme campaign of 1916. This album, painted from memory after the hostilities, depicts the Royal Flying Corps in action, from July 1916 to June 1917.
