The dustjackets are resolutely secure and sure. All books have Tuscan brown boards with gilt titling are smart, healthy. The boards of Parts II and III are a little bent from storage. The frontispages and endpapers are smeared with foxing. The papertrims are foxed. The contents are pleasing. They are generally very clean and clear, mild-mannered, diligent, decided, amenable.
