New Left Notes was first published by the Students for a Democratic Society in 1966 as an underground, counter-culture newspaper and as such, challenged conformity and authority. The SDS was the largest and most influential radical student group organization of the 1960s, inspired by the civil rights movement, equality, economic justice, peace, the Vietnam War, and participatory democracy. Lightly aged toned, as may be anticipated; previously housed in archival boxes and incredibly well maintained. This focus of this issue is 'National Convention Expels Racist PL and Elects New Officers'.
