Undated, but most likely circa 1940s, this is a nice collection of five scarce old trade leaflets and samples for Rubber and Felt roofing systems, for scale the smallest sample leaflet is 5 inches tall At least four of the pieces are from The Ruberoid Co. Ltd. of London, Some of the roof sample pieces have caused some staining to the paper, else condition as seen. Contents organized by pitch and felt, asbestos and combination, asphalt felt gravel surface, flashings, construction details, and application requirements. The wrapping has rubbing to it on both sides. The wrapper is worn along the spine,with shelf wear and creasing or chips around the corners. The far edge of the wrapper has increased wear and may have closed tears.
