Zustand: Very good condition. The White Plains gaol was built in 1856. These albumen cabinet cards are of the Department of Corrections staff. 8 cards of staff members in uniform with epaulets and kepi hats with an emblem "WPD C" surrounded by a wreath; two with more formal hats with feather decoration. All members unnamed, and photographs taken by photographer John Rosch of White Plains, NY. 8 cabinet cards, 4 1/4 X 6 1/2", very good condition.
