Very good condition with a small name stamp at the top of the front cover, a touch of light shelf soil, sound binding, very clean pages with some offsetting of the tan figures onto the pages opposite, no names or other markings. First, Limited Edition. Soft Cover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Single sheet. Zustand: Good. Single sheet folded twice to 7 x 4.5 in. Verse by Rollins written to be read to Frederic W. Goudy before his 77th birthday. Printed by Goudy's close associate, Howard Coggeshall, using six of Goudy's types. Typophiles Monograph No. 2. Good copy; some foxing and faint creases.

One of 500 copies printed as a keepsake in celebration of Rollins's 75th birthday, with a list of 55 of the printer's favourite books produced while he was Printer at Yale University.

An extract from the 1914 volume, 'Franklin and his Press at Passy', with two additional paragraphs and facsimiles pages of the only known copies of the three early editions. One of 200 copies printed at Carl Purington Rollins's Montague Press. 12mo., original sewn blue printed paper wrappers, edges faded.
