A rare example of this collection of 22 fine art prints from the Roland Offset Factory in southern Germany, accompanied by a well illustrated history of the factory and press. All are encased in a stiff board folded case with a retainer for the brochure and a paper sleeve for the prints. Case: very large (17.5 " tall) cream coloured, 1/8 th cloth over cream coloured boards with grey and green lettering to front, grey and white logo to front and rear and outline drawings of printing machines to rear; in very good condition for its age but discoloured particularly along top edge and with bumping to all edges and corners, commensurate with size, age and use. Internally: walled separate recesses for both sewn brochure with retaining band (with small, very discreet book plate from previous owner attached to band) and the 22 art prints, in paper folder, plus a duplicate print and an enclosure letter from Price Service & Co. Ltd. Brochure printed on cream coloured heavy paper and hand sewn; very bright and clean, no signs of use, beautifully illustrated in black and white; in excellent condition. 32 pp. 22 fine Art prints, some black and white but mostly in colour; each tissue protected with notes about the print, including details of printing and paper, on the tissue overlay; duplicate of No. 11 including tissue overlay. All enclosed in stiff paper folder with explanation of contents in several languages (the English seems to have lost something in the translation). Enclosure letter on grey heavy paper with pale green and black lettering. The whole of the contents are in Fine condition. A large and heavy item which may incur increased postage charges.
