Leather over spine split over frotn hinge and helkd in place by prior owner's use of several short strips of cello tape. Older linen tape reinforcement to the inside front hings. Endpages with somehat heavy foxing, fading to modrate to the pages of the text. Revised copyright information on a letterpress slip of paper tipped on to verso of title page. Expected light toning to page stock. Would benefit from light restoration/rebacking. Early American printing thus. Good only.
