In den WarenkorbHardcover. Zustand: Very Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: No Dust Jacket. Richardson, Agnes (illustrator). First Edition. no dated, but Copac cite 1916, though we feel it is a little later than this and probably 1920's. Unpaginated but 6 leaves of full colour plates, 46 pages, many with b/w illustrations, some full page, including one by Louis Wain. Colour plates by Agnes Richardson; Harold C. Earnshaw and A. E. Kennedy. The front cover illustrations is also by Harold Earnshaw (see note at the end) Original red cloth backed pictorial laminated board binding, generally very good with a little general wear and rubbing, slightly marked to the rear panel, front cover illustration clean and bright. Contents clean and tight, the odd small mark, no inscriptions. A very good copy. Bibliographical note: Clearly a rare publication, Copac cite just one library with a copy and at the time of cataloguing no other copies were available on the internet. Harold Earnshaw married Mabel Lucie Attwell in 1908; he was seriously wounded during the first world war and lost his right arm, but subsequently learnt to paint with this left hand, so it is probable that his illustrations in this book were painted with this left arm! A charming young children's book. Size: 4to. Book.
