Buff-coloured cloth with pictures in black and white to front and spine. 140 x 197 x 43mm. 255pp. 6 illustrations called-for, only two of which (the last and the frontispiece) are present. Spine-ends a little scuffed, with 2cm tear at left-hand hinge; cover… otherwise clean; some foxing to fore-edges; largely clean internally, though f.f.e. has previous owner name and address in pencil, and p.17 has pencil scribble.
