A private edition of two hundred copies, the volume contains numerous illustrative embellishments, borders and vignettes. St. Kentigurn, also known as Mundo, lived in during the latter half of the 6th century, and is known as the founder and patron saint of the Scottish city, Glasgow. In quarter-morocco binding with gilt detailing and cloth-covered boards. Externally quite smart. There is some wear to the extremities, joints, boards and backstrip, as well as some light markings to boards and strain to hinges. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean throughout, although there are instances of spotting and handling marks throughout, particularly to endpages. Very Good Indeed. book.
