An illustrated work written by the Rev. William Sloane Evans, who has also written an introduction on the origin and development of British heraldry. Disbound but intact. Externally fairly smart, with a little spotting to the wraps, and remnants of the binding to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean except for the odd spot to the frontispiece and engraved title page, and age toning to the perimeters of the plates. Very Good. book.
