Binding remains firm, hinges are reinforced. Pages are moderately tanned. Boards have heavy edge-wear with substantial bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Splits to spine joint causing boards to be loose. Fraying to corners and spine ends.

Label to inside front cover states it was bequeathed to Caledonian Club Library by Danial Mackintosh Forbes in December 1917 - no other library stickers or stamps. Inside front and rear hinges weakened, and small tear to ffep with couple small pieces missing. Otherwise clean and bright and tightly bound. Wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and inserted into jiffy bag. Posted daily from UK, first class within UK and airmail world-wide.
